Automatically creating contacts?

I'm using Outlook 2003 - Exchange. I send out a lot of
email, and I've noticed that when I send an email to a
person for the first time, it automatically creates a
contact in my address book. I do not want this happening -
my contact list is huge now. Is there a way to turn off
this feature?

I believe what you need to do is in your Outlook

1. Goto Tool
2. Click Options and a new window will launc
3. On this window click Email Options on the Preferences ta
4. Uncheck the "Automatically put people I reply to in:

This should do it

Now that's odd. Outlook 2003 has had no such feature since the long
abandoned IMO mode of Outlook 2000. Why is your installation different? Do
you have any add-ins?
