automatically byte send and recived by the server

i think its a worm or virus , i can't understand why the
server sends and recived bytes in millions of quantity ,
this degrade the server performance all the application is
now going slow

please help me in this regards if u understand my
problem ,

in other words the server behave abnormally in sending and
receving the bytes

- Install a good virus scanner
- Keep it updated
- Install a firewall
- Install a spyware tool, e.g. Adaware
