Hi:
I've switch on the "automatically accept meeting request and process
cancellations" option in my outlook 2002, however, whenever there's a meeting
request arrive, it just sits in the inbox does not do anything at all.

From the little research I've done over the net, is it true that you need to
have the account configure in exchange to make the auto accept happen?

If so, is there anyway to get it working for Outlook enviornment without
exchange server?

Regards

Michael

If you have Outlook open and have configured your options correctly under
the calendar options, it should work. The reason for the auto-accept
working with Exchange is that the server determines your settings and
accepts/declines. Outlook without Exchange must be open, however, for it to
work.
