My network is hosted by SBS 2003 R. Automatic updates for all workstations
are deployed by WSUS and it has been working beautifully until I added
another PC to the network. I have joined PC's before to the domain and
automatic updates are configured by the server. This new PC running
Vista-Ultimate 64 bit, Live one care for protection, which I added after
deployment will not allow me to select "AUTOMATIC UPDATES". The selection is
greyed out. Even when I obey ONE CARE's instruction to turn on AUTOMATIC
UPDATE, it tells me it is unable to do so. WTF!! The help feature tell me
it might be prevented by "GROUP POLICY". Of course, I don't know jack about
no &^%$#@!!@# group policy! I am at the end of my rope here and way out of
my league. Can anyone offer a solution other than walking off a tall
building? HHHHEEELLLPPP please. Thank you
