Automatic Updates under Limited User account

I keep my home computer set to boot on a limited user
account (due to repeated trangressions by the kids). Can
I set it for automatic Windows XP updates and
installation if it is booted as Limited, or do I need to
log on as Admin and manually update Windows?

If you set Automatic Updates to notify before downloading or notify
after downloading, no updates will be applied and no notice will be
offered to the limited user, but as soon as an admin logs on, the AU
icon will popup.

If you set AU to the third option, then *most* updates will
automatically install for a limited user and AU will also force the
limited user to reboot, if necessary. However, service packs, which
require accepting a license agreement, will not automatically install
for limited users. So XP SP2 requires an admin logon to install.

In brief, AU is still useful because it speeds up updating, but it
doesn't remove the requirement to logon as admin occasionally.
