about 5 or 6 times a day my computer just randomly goes
black, flashes the blue screen of death so quick you
can't read it, and restarts itself. The last time i did
it i got one of those annoying error messages that says
windows has recovered from a serious error and if you
click on details it gives me this
bccode 1000008e
bcp1 c0000005
bcp2 fca19a51
bcp3 f6d7a6e4
bcp4 00000000
does anyone know what this means or how to fix it????

hi Crystal
the first thing I would do would be to head into the
System control panel & disable the "automatic reboot"
option in case of system failures. At least that way you
will have time to examine the Blue Screen.
On the blue screen, what error is it giving you (about the
2nd or 3rd line down should be legible english, eg
IRQ_LESS_OR_BLAH_BLAH)? Towards the bottom of the screen,
have a look at the .dll's listed... do you know if any of
them are a part of software you have recently installed or
updated?

Hi Crystal,

Are you using a Creative Labs sound card? If so, this may apply:
