How do i send a power point presentation to an email recipient to
automatically play the slide show upon opening the file???

I tried that, it didn't work... I don' t even get that option, though I tried
to type it in manually and it didn't work

You should have the option in your file Save As. You can also just go in and
rename the presentation from .PPT to .PPS. There is no difference other than
the way they open. Also the recipient must have wither the free PowerPoint
viewer or the full PowerPoint program on their computer.

I have tried both of those options and neither of them seem to work, when the
attachement is opened, it opens the whole Power point program, and not
directly to the slide show. And yes, I am testing this to send to myself
first... i obviously have power point on my computer

I'm guessing that it has to do with file association. go into Windows
Explorer, Click on tools, Folder Options, File types, scroll down until you
find .PPS, select it, then select advance, and ensure the option for this
file type is Show.

Are you SURE your saving as a .pps file - can you see the .pps extention on
the saved file? ( you may need to go to windows explorer > folder
options>view and untick hide extensions for known file types) Did you scroll
down in the save as type box to "powerpoint show .pps"?

When you receive your emailed presentation, how are you trying to open it?
are you double clicking on the presentation or are you opening it from
within PowerPoint?
