Outlook 2002, Windows 2000 Professional, pop3 e-mai

Is there a way to display the name in the to, cc, bcc field of a mail message instead of the e-mail address? I do better with names, e-mail addresses are sometimes cryptic

You can change the "Display as" field for your Contacts.

remark! To 'SgtRich,' remember when you were a beginner
and new little?

Click the Contacts list in Outlook and open any of your
Contacts. the field that will be displayed in the To, cc
& bcc field is the one marked 'Display As' directly
underneath the E-mail Address field. You can alter this
to read whatever you wish.

This question was originally with another question about automatic send/receive settings. When I reposted, I forgot to change the subject line. My apologies for the misleading subject line SgtRich

AC, I have over 250 contacts in Outlook. What you suggested works for that one contact. Is there any way to do it globally for the whole list of contacts. I imported two different address books from another e-mail progarm.
