Automatic segments...

is there a way to turn-off the automatic segments that MM2
produces when importing a file? I find it very annoying
that the video is imported and sliced into many small
segments. Also, with compressed files, when exporting, it
makes the video quite jumpy and the results are pretty
poor with regards to video quality. Any suggestions?

in the capture and import wizards there's a tick box that
says something like create clips. it is ticked by default
so untick it.

That applies only to captured video, not imported video. I'm looking
for a solution to that problem myself.
