automatic reboot

I have just re-installed (clean) windows XP pro and I am
having a problem with the computer rebooting at various
different times all by itself. The last reboot I got a
blue screen that said windows was shutting down to
prevent any further damage to my computer. The stop
message code was: 0X0000008E (0X0000005, 0X805E3A74,
0XF4AAE9B8, 0X00000000). Can anyone help me with this
situation, Iam lost!!! Thanks, Dean

This could be caused by bad hardware. See ""STOP 0x0000008e" Error
Message During Windows XP Setup"
(http://support.microsoft.com/?kbid=315335) which deals with a similar
problem.
