Echo's site is great, it helped me understand a lot. But something of what
you mentioned is a little confusing to me.
What do you mean 'start-up without viewer'?
The PowerPoint file must have either it's viewer or a full version of
PowerPoint available to run as a PowerPoint presentation (I've heard star
office can open some presentations, but know no details about that). There
is no way around this. Its akin to asking if you can listen to a sound file
without a soundcard, there just isn't anything there to understand what the
1's and 0's mean.
Or, instead, do you mean you want to convert the presentation to a 'movie
file' and run the movie instead of a 'presentation file'? If this is the
case then there are some very significant differences between the two
environments. As long as you have taken these differences into account
then, sure, you can do that (with the clear understanding, also, that the
movie file will need a viewing program).
Could you clarify a little for me?
