Automatic Power Off

I just upgraded my computer to Windows 2000. When I
shutdown the computer, it does not power off any more. I
get the message " It is safe to turn off". However, my
power button is disabled. The only thing that I can do is
unplug the computer. It worked fine in Windows 98. Any
ideas?
