Automatic Network Detection

My laptop no longer automatically detect the internet
other than at home.

The problem occured when I was messing about with the
settings in order to see a work group at home.

Unfortunately I can't remember what I did, "Great ha!"

Any help would be appreciated!

The first question I always ask is if you can ping the web sites. if not,
check the DNS settings first, or post ipconfig /all here.

Windows XP's System Restore feature is just the thing for a situation
like this, where you're not sure what went wrong.

Click Start | All Programs | Accessories | System Tools | System
Restore and tell it to restore your computer to an earlier time. Pick
a time just before the problem occurred.
