I would like to be able to see all of the e-mail addresses that come to my
mailbox instead of the automatic name showing up. For instance, I will
receive an e-mail from Joe Smith, I would rather see (e-mail address removed).
If this can be done would it effect previous e-mails as well or just e-mails
going forward. Any and all help is greatly appreciated.

Thank you,

Pat

short answer, no, you can't.
why? Because at some point MS decided that email address were sort of like
MAC addresses, something the computer user should not have to deal with...

Diane,

Thank you for the link. From what I read the Sender ID only works with
Exchange 2003 SP2. I have Outlook 2003 SP3. Do you have awork around?

Thanks again!

It's not a feature built into the box, but you can easily install a file
which will allow you to display the email address. See

You don't want the sender id field - you want the sender's email address
field or the extended properties form, both linked in this section:
http://www.slipstick.com/exs/customfields.htm#cfg

all of the forms install on any outlook- but exchange-only fields won't
contain any data unless you use exchange.
