Automatic Image Adjustment

I have a large number of slides that have been scanned, but without
any adjustments. Is there a piece of software which will go through a
batch of jpgs and apply basic exposure and colour corrections?

I have Photoshop (Elements and CS) running on a Mac. If there isn't a
standalone product to do this might it be possible to achieve this
outcome via a macro language in one of these programs?

All suggestions gratefully received.

Photoshop Elements 3 has Auto Levels and Smart Fix.( As do later versions of
Photoshop Elements).
Smart fix is on the Enhance menu as is Auto levels.
Keyboard is:
Alt+Ctrl+M for Smart Fix
Shift+Ctrl+L for Autolevels.


CS likely has the same Auto functions.

Photoshop has Actions.
Set one up and apply to unlimited number of pix in a folder/subfolders.
And/or created a Droplet to do same.

I use DxO for practically all my batch image processing before feeding the
results into Lightroom for any additional tweaking. DxO is a camera and
lens specific processor but have found it works well with any .tiff, .jpg,
or .dng image.
