I am running IE 6.0 and XP. A few days ago my home page
automatically changed to res://mshp.dll/index.html#17202.

I change it back to my regular page and periodically it
changes automatically again. The Microsoft search also
seems to be working differently since this happened. It
seems to be using something called search-about.net. This
is very annoying - how can I get rid of this? I've
already deleted the dll and it comes back.

Don,

This is caused by a CoolWebSearch variant.
