Automatic Decimal Entry

Whenever I try to type in a group of numbers, say for a password, my system
automatically enters a decimal. Is there some way to change this so that it
doesn't happen anymore?

Regional and Language Options in Control panel, Formats tab, click
"Customize this format" button, Numbers tab, click down arrow on "Number of
digits after the decimal", set it to zero, and Apply.
