Hi folks.

I have been looking trough AD and GPO looking for place to
automatic settings for my users.

Today, when someone logs on to some computer, the user has
to go trough the Internet connection wizard, and tell
Outlook what the name of mailserver is and so on.

I'm sure that AD and/or GPO can do this automatic for me.
Please help.

Thanks in advanced.

J,

It all depends on how you have set things up. You can now
install IE6SP1 via GPO ( with a little help from MS ) and
you can use either an .mst file for your Outlook or use
GPO to stipulate that information. I usually make use
of .mst files when installing Office 2000 / XP via GPO so
that all that "fun stuff" is done already.

BTW - take a look at the Office 2000 .adm files in
conjunction with GPO. It is a Godsend!

HTH,

Cary
