despite crossing the check names box the function is still not working. I
only seem to have 1 contacts folder in my personal files?

State Outlook version and how you configured the Outlook Address Book
service.

Outlook 2000 sp-3 (9.0.0.6627), not sure about the config of the addressbook

Not enough info.
There are 2 completely different versions of Outlook 2000.

Internet mail only does this help

It provides little hope. IMO is not really Outlook. Name checking is handled
by Outlook Express, so you may have a problem with OE.
Provide a more accurate description of your problem. "Does not work" tells
us next to nothing.
