Automatic Approve Updates

Hi,
I installed SUS and its working fine. During installation I indicate to
approve manually, and now I want to approve it automatically. Although I
configure this feature in "SET OPTIONS", hotfixes aren't automatically
approved and the status remains "NEW"

The option you are referring to configures automatic approvement of reissued
updates, not new ones. You can't autoapprove new updates using native SUS
settings. You can however use third-party utilities/scripts like
http://www.gatefold.co.uk/sus/ or make your own script/program/service that
will monitor approvedupdates.txt file and make appropriate changes to it.
