Automated Windows Update for Windows 2000?

Is there a way to automate the installation of Windows
updates for a large number of computers? I do not want to
have to sit at every computer and update each one at a
time.

If you are using Windows 2000, you can use Group Policy
to update your pc's or you can implement SUS (Software
Update Services). Check out microsoft's website for more
info on SUS
