automated shutdown/restart

I am unable to run the shutdown command and switches found
in the Windows 2000 server support tools. when I attempt
to run the command, I get an 'access denied' error
message. The logon is a network administrator logon with
full rights. Any ideas?

It's important to have the switches in the right order.

Check the switches again! If it doesn't work - look at
www.sysinternals.com, they have a good freeware tool for
shutdown and restart!
