I have had this problem on and off since I started using XPE, and have not
received any responses when I've posted about it, but I might as well try
again just in case...
Our system is designed to run w/o a keyboard or mouse, so I use the
Autologon feature to bring it up, which works most of the time. But on some
builds, after it goes through FBA and reboots, I get an error dialog "The
system cannot log you on...", and then it sits there with the default
Administrator logon dialog, requiring a mouse click to continue.
I do have a kbd/mouse when doing this procedure, but if I go ahead and log
on that way, there are still problems on subsequent reboots, and I certainly
can't reseal it and clone it if it won't automatically logon.
The solution sometimes has just been to go back to TD, regenerate
everything, and try it all again from scratch. I have not been able to
isolate what I have changed when I finally get it working, but it is a real
PITA to get into this situation when I'm trying to generate a new release.
Anybody had this happen to them, or know what causes it to happen?
