AutoFit Menu----Missing Menu options

I am missing menu options in the autofit menu such as split text between two
slides, continue on a new slide, and change to two columns. Is there are a
reason why I don't have this menu options??? Please advise.

Are you typing in a placeholder (where it says "click to add text") or in a
regular "manual" textbox?

Which version of PPT are you using?
