Hi,
Before Office 2007:
If the Autofilter was on some data, I could select the downarrow on the
"Vendor" column. If I wanted to quickly go to "Zan's Distributing" I could
type a "Z" and it would take me there much faster than scrolling to the Z's.
In Office 2007:
Now I type Z and nothing happens--it doesn't take me to the Z's. I have to
scroll. Is there an option somewhere to make it work the way it used to?

Hi

I think you are mistaking the behaviour of Autofilter with that of using a
Combo box.
Autofilter has never had the facility which you describe, so 2007 is no
different from 2003 in that respect.
It is different in that you need to de-select All, then scroll to put a
check mark against the Vendor(s) you want.

Whilst Autofilter is more powerful than previously, it can be a little more
cumbersome to use.

For that reason, I wrote some code for FastFilter which can be found as a
download at Debra Dalgleish's site
