autofill

My autofill on new messages stopped working. I made sure the box is
checked, I have re-booted and tried just about everything, but even
when I type a new message and then a few minutes late type the first
few letters for the same recipient, it doesn't autofill. Any
suggestions?

This is usually symptomatic of a damaged mail profile, but there's something
to try first before creating a new mail profile. With Outlook closed, open
Windows Explorer and enter

%AppData%\Microsoft\Outlook

in the Address field and click Go. Locate the NK2 file and rename it.
Start Outlook again and send a new messages. You can click FIle>Work
Offline first if you don't want to actually send them and you can delete
them from Outbox before going back online, but it will allow you to check if
the autocompletion cache has been recreated. You can use Windows Explorer
as before to see if a new NK2 file has appeared.
