autofill

I have a column with the following:

7 rows showing "6"
7 rows showing "7"
7 rows showing "8"
....
Is there any way to use autofill to continue this pattern?

If you have 7's in A1:A7, insert:

=A1+1

in A8 and fill this cell down.
