Hi,
This is query number 2:
I have 2 tables [Active Clients] and [Resources] (which
have all possible resources, including all possible
clients)
I want people to be able to amend the [Active Clients]...
in the first field I have done a lookup to the [Resources]
table for [Client Name] - this is a combobox within
[Active Clients].[Client Name]. The next field in the
table is [Client Number] - which already exists in the
[Resources] table. I want this field (in [Active Clients]
table) to automatically be populated (data taken from
resources table) when the [Client Name] has been selected.
I do need the Number field in both tables. I am aware
that this may have to be done through a form... but could
somebody help me with how? And relevant formulas that I'll
need?
Thanks loads, please, if it can't be done, let me know.
Many thanks,
Baz
