I'm a happy user of the AutoFEupdater. I'm now trying to use the
newest version 1,76.
But I'm getting this error message:

1019 - The following error occurred while attempting to determine the
Access/Jet version of the file 'd:\dokumenter\hsc.mdb' (while using
DAO Version 3.6)

Error: 0

Does anyone know what this is?
I have winXP, Access2003 all service packs.
Fileversion of HSC.mdb should be A2000.

Thanks a lot.

Hmmm, I have no idea.

Try registering the DAO dll using regsvr32. For example regsvr32
"C:\Program Files\Common Files\Microsoft Shared\DAO\DAO360.DLL"

You can try my previous answer suggesting registering DAO but when I
take a second look at your error message that actually likely won't
apply.

This is falling out of a Select case indicating an error but there was
no error.

What happens when you try version 1.75?

Does this happen on all work stations or just one?

Hi Tony, thanks for answering. I'm trying 1.73, 1.74 and 1.76 without
success.
But let me try on a few other pc's and I'll be back with the results.
Could be me wrecking it in some way. Thank you so far.

I tried this with no effect.

Previously I've used 1.69 which worked, but I cant get 1.73-1.76 to
work.

I think I've configured the ini correct.
This is a screenshot of my folders. I have a folder "1" under C: and
folders "FE" and "BE" under "1".

This is the folder shot:

And here is my error:

Is there by the way a 1.75 ? It doesn't seem to be on your website.
Thanks again.

Jesper

and this is my shortcut

C:\1\StartMDB.exe /cmd /inifile "C:\1\1.ini"

which I think should be correct, but I fear I'm just missing a typo
somewhere.
