autoexec.nt problems

Yes this is about the 4th question on the same problem I can't get Worms
Armeggedon to work as it says c:\windows\system32\autoexe.nt. the system file
is not suitable for running MS-DOS and microsoft applications. choose close
to terminate the application. Jimmy S said to look for the file in the repair
folder but theres only system.bac in there, a BAK file and the pc doesn't
know what to open it with. I've tried the help at
http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-us;324767#kb2 but I'm am
only 14 and seriously confused. I don't partically care what the problem is I
just want my Worms Armageddon to work. Anyone (especially Jimmy) PLEASE HELP
ME BEFORE I GO BALD WITH FRUSTRATION!
 
Hi Carrot,

You can solve that problem by replacing the file:

1. Browse to C:\WINDOWS\repair
Right-Click and Copy the file named: autoexec.nt *

2. Browse to C:\WINDOWS\System32
Right-Click in that window to Paste the file
(Answer yes if prompted to replace existing file)

* Note: If the file autoexec.nt doesn't exist on your system
Save this version to your C:\WINDOWS\System32 folder
by right clicking the link below and using the "Save As.." option:
