I am using Outlook 2000 (Internet Mail Only)
When typing names in the "To" line, some are underscored with a solid line
and others with a dotted line. When right clicking Properties for the dashed
names, I receive the message "Cannot perform the requested operation. The
command selected is not valid for this recipient"
If I send the email, it is not received by the "dashed" underlined
recipient. (It goes to an old email address that has been removed from both
my Contacts list and Address Book.) If I type the same first name but add
the first letter of the last name, the correct entry appears (with a solid
underscore and the correct address when I click properties.)
In reading all the other posts, I thought it might be helpful to change my
profile (to Corporate.Workgroups) but find that none of the directions appear
to work for me.
I also tried to search for the "*.nk2" file to delete, but this does not
appear to be a part of Outlook 2000.
Can anyone pls help?
Thanks!!
