Autocomplete

Hi, I am trying to log into a web page, but interent explorer keeps on adding
on an additional part to my login name, which is stopping me from logging in.

I have deleted my cookies, temp internet files, history, switched off the
auto complete, and delete all the logins and P/w that were stored before and
it still doesnt work.

The company told me that there is obviously a problem with IE and I should
consider downloading Firefox which I dont think I should have to do.

Can someone please suggest a way this can be fixed.

Download Protected Storage PassView v1.62 from
http://www.nirsoft.net/utils/pspv.html
Install and run the program. Delete any usernames/passwords associated with
that site.

Less likely, but if running Windows XP, go to Control Panel> User Accounts>
{username}> Manage network passwords. Remove stored passwords for that site.

Also, less likely, go to Internet Options> Security> Internet Zone> Custom
Level> User Authentication> Logon> select "Prompt for username and
password."

or, you can go to AutoComplete and remove the marks next to everything that
you have checked, then click on the clear passwords and clear forms. That
will clear everything, then you can go to the General tab and 'clear
history' just to be sure, then go back and reset your AutoComplete settings
to your liking. Be advised that you will have to re-enter passwords, etc,
so make sure you remember them.
