AutoComplete passwords on https

Hey,

Saving passwords using the AutoComplete function works great in Internet
Explorer.

But on https pages, it does not prompt me to save passwords. Why is that? Is
there any way aroud it?

If your passwords were saved in secure sites, anyone could sit down at your
computer and get into your files, which would defeat the purpose of a secure
site.
 
Understandable,

but no way to get around it? I am the only one that ever uses my computer
and would really love it if I didn't have to enter them everytime.

I find the phenomenon to be site specific. Some secure sites will allow the
passwords to be saved and some won't.
