Autocomplete of Email Address in To/CC/BCC Lines?

I have seen a few prior posts asking this question
regarding the autocomplete of email addresses in the
To/CC/BCC lines of an email message. Most simply say to
use the Name Recognizer feature (which is not
comparible). I want to start typing "jco" and have it
fill in "(e-mail address removed)" (for one example) as it did
before. Is there a patch for this blatent MS disregard
for conformity as per Outlook Express and Outlook 2002
(XP)? I would upgrade to 2002 but I have a Nortel CTA
dialer device that can only run on Office 2000 or lower.
Anyone know if any of the service packs update this issue
and/or if any patches or 3rd-Party software exists for
this?

Before in Outlook? Autocomplete was added in OL2002. It was never there
before that in Outlook. It was in Outlook Express but that's an entirely
different product with a confusingly similar name.
