i find autocomplete handy when it works, however there are times when
have new things to enter and autocomplete throws in text which i
longer than what i want or; i would like to add text to the end of th
autocomplete text.

is there a way in which i could stop autocomplete short?

is there a way to add things to the end of auto complete?

I know I can hit space, then back up one space to complete my entry.

and to add stuff to the end i just complete the entry, then hit f2 t
finish what i want.

just wondering if there is a better way, like maybe hitting alt ente
or something like that.

To shorten an Autocompleted entry, you can press the Delete key, then
Enter.

For example, if cell A1 contains "Pencils", and you want "Pen" in cell
A2, type Pen, press Delete, then Enter.

To add text to the end of an Autocompleted entry, press F2, then press
the End key, and type the new ending.
