Autocomplete issue

Hello all,

I'm currently trying to think of a way to work around the problem tha
Excel's autocomplete tool breaks a column's autocomplete "memory" afte
several empty cells.

Does anybody know a way to keep all the column's autocomplete entrie
available when you start entering data into cells further down th
column, after leaving several with no-data cells.

Any help would be much appreciated

afaik, that is not possible

The only workaround would be if the entries are consistent throughout the
sheet, you could enter a shortcut in the Tools> Autocorrect options...

e.g. if the list were several names that repeated, in Autocorrect enter a
short code for the name (e.g. rowi = Robert Williams). Of course, the code
should not be normal words (e.g. at = Alan Thompson)
