Autocomplete in Outlook

How can the autocomplete function within the address bar of Outlook be
disabled? I do not want suggestions of e-mail addresses to come up anymore
when I type the first letter of the address.
 
Turn off autocomplete in Tools, since you dont mention version of Outlook
you'll have to search within Tools
 
Tools-> Options...-> E-mail Options...-> Advanced E-mail Options...->
option: Suggest names while...
