Autocomplete for forms and Username&passwords disabled

My IE 6.0 Autocomplete function only works for URLs. In
Options/Content/AutoComplete, Forms and User
names&password check boxes are grayed out (disabled).
Where can we allow IE to enable these check boxes
(registry)???????
