Autocomplete e-dresses from Contact subfolders?

I have my Contacts divided into multiple subfolders; no
actual contacts exist in the root "Contacts" folder. Can
Outlook autocomplete as I type an email address, if the
contacts are all in subfolders? If so, how do I get it
to 'see' these?

I do have all the subfolders checked as "Use as Outlook
Address Book." So, when using the "TO" button, I can
drop-down to any subfolder and choose from there. It's
just a lot more time-consuming that way.

Thank you for any help...

There is no autocomplete feature in Outlook (no matter
where you save your contacts). Outlook 2002 and 2003 have
a cache function for addresses you typed before.

Hope this helps!
