autocomplete is corrupted? anyone know how to start again - iv'e tried
deleteing in the normal way. If i turn autocomplete off it works as normal.

Im running xp sp2

Hi,
Corruption in the History folder is a possibility. Delete the affected
History folder from Windows Explorer. You will have to login from the
machine's default administrator account or as another user with admin
privileges. See: http://mvps.org/winhelp2002/delcache.htm

If unsuccessful with the previous fix, this could also be a malware problem.
Work through the solutions (CWShredder, Ad-aware, Spybot) at
http://mvps.org/winhelp2002/unwanted.htm Also note the security tips on that
page.
