AutoCalculate Problem

Due to the way someone 3 stops down the chain from me is
exporting, the autocalculate function does not work with
my data. For some reason, if I go in and double click
all the cells, then auto calculate works. That is
tremendously time consuming for large documents, though.

Do you know of a way to do this on a mass scale so that I
can autosum?

Copy a blank cell.

Select your range of data.

Paste Special>Add>OK>Esc onto the selected range.

This move will change the data from text to real numerics.
