AutoCAD Intellimouse

I have just bought a "Microsoft® Wireless IntelliMouse®
Explorer".
In AutoCAD when you press the wheel button you can pan.
The problem with this mouse is that the wheel button is
pre-set to do somethine gels.
How do I set the wheel button to behave as a standard
wheel button?

If you have installed Intellipoint 5.0, go to control panel/mouse/properties
click the button tab and select your settings
