Hi,

since 2 weeks the autologon doesn't work.
The logon screen waits for STRG+ALT+DEL.
If I press STRG+ALT+DEL the login resumed
(without enter the password).

Any ideas ?

My settings:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Winlogon
AutoAdminLogon="1"
DefaultUserName="...."
DefaultPassword="...."
DefaultDomainName="..."

First you need to check to see if you have just recently updated the
XP and you now have a ASP.NET user account. I yesm then you have
receive a .Net framework update that creates this user as a hidden
user account. This breaks the logon process. The easiest way to fix
this is to install the TweakUI from the Powertoys from XP web site.

Under the Logon section, you can uncheck all account you do not wish
to show up at logon. After this, the logon should work again.
