Auto-Updating of the same slides in multiple presentations

How can I auto-update the same slide when it is in multiple presentation
files?

I maintain 8 PowerPoint presentations that share many of the same slides. I
am frequently asked to make minor changes to these slides and currently
manually replace the modified slide in the 7 other presentations. Is there
any way to automate this?

For example, is there someway to define one of the presentations as
"primary" and associate the other presentations to it so that, when I update
the slide in the "primary" presentation, it is automatically updated in the
associated files?
 
There's a nice, very inexpensive product called SlideWhere. Google knows where
to find it. It should do most, if not all of what you need.

Great! I really need to get the latest version and give it a go. It's been quite a
