Auto Updating Charts

Morning Ya'all,

I am trying to set up an Auto Updating chart..

Basically, I have a spreadsheet that is constantly being updated. It's
an appointment schedule of sorts, looking something like this:

CASE DATE
200 1 Jan 03
100 1 Jan 03
120 3 Jan 03
690 1 Jan 03

etc etc etc

Now, what I need is for a chart to pull the DATE field and chart the
CASE field, grouped by DATE.

In other words, I want to chart how many cases are coming in on a
given day. And I need to have that chart updated every time a new
appointment is entered w/o having to manually update it.

I am in a quandary as to how to get started with something like this.

Any assistance would be most appreciated...
