I frequently have to do proposals for certain people at certain address.
with 2003 word, i could type start to type Colu and it would automatically
fill in Columbia Unniversity. I had multiple customers and addresses in my
old system, where can I get them to show up in Word 2007. I don't have the
time to constantly New York University School of Medicine when I used to be
able to type nyusom and it would show up correctly

Were you using AutoText or AutoCorrect?

AutoText has never automatically filled in anything. In Word2003, you
could get a "Show AutoComplete suggestion" screen tip after typing a
unique string e.g, "nyus" and if you pressed enter after the tip
appears then the autotext entry defined for nyus would be inserted
(but you had to press enter). If you have an AutoCorrect entry
defined to correct nyusom to New York City School of Medicine, then
the correction would be automatic.

AutoCorrect in Word2007 works like it did in Word2003.

The Show Autocomplete suggestion feature however is gone in Word2007.
You can still type nyus and press F3 to complete the entry.
