Auto Suggesting email address

What can i control the option, or what controls the option on which name pops up first when I type in the first couple letters of someones name and an email address is suggested for me automatically. All of sudden an old contact started popping up from my contacts instead of someone I write all the time. One is named Joel the other is Joe. I want Joe, but Joel keeps popping up. Any ideas.

It is the autocache function. Select the address you want to remove by using
your arrow keys and then press DELETE to remove it from the list.
