Hi all,
In recent versions of Outlook we can type in the start of a name we
have used previously and the cache will auto suggest for us. Great.
Once you learn how to delete out-of-date ones...even better.
The format that appears is Firstname Lastname and then in <> brackets
the exchange directory name.
eg. Mary Bloggs <Mary.Bloggs>
Rather confusing.... but fine.
HOWEVER
If 'Mary' gets married and decides to change her name the suggested
address (after deleting the old one and recreating) shows as:
Mary.Smith <Mary.Bloggs>
...because the directory name isn't changed.
Is this just a 'feature' that you have to live with or can it be
changed? Married names aren't so bad. People are more fussy after a
divorce or, in one case we have, when a typo on account creation has
changed their gender!
Are we overlooking something obvious here?
Many thanks
Graeme
