Is there a way to turn on and off Auto Start other than using the registers
to do it.

Thanks for any help.
Don

Sorry, I need to turn autoplay off when I insert certain CD's. I don't want
them to execute and then turn autoplay back on when I am through.
Can I do this without going into the registry?

AutoStart for what? Programs?

Start> Run > MSCONFIG Uncheck unwanted startup items on the Startup page.
OR open the main programs and look for a menu setting that controls the
startup behavior.

Hi again, Donald. I use TweakUI for XP to toggle AutoPlay on and off as
needed. You can download this program (a part of the Power Toys) from this
site:

Thanks Sharon
That works really nifty!
