Auto spellcheck emails before releasing for sending

My new computer sends emails before spellchecking them. I've tried to find
the command to enable a default spellcheck before the "Send" command" with no
luck.

Mail client and version? Account type?
 
If configured to use Microsoft Word as the editor, it'll spell check as you
type. On version 2003 that would be Tools, Options, Mail Format and check
"Use Microsoft Word to edit ........"

Next time mention WHICH version of Outlook you are using and (if prior to
OL2007) if using Outlook or Word as the new-mail editor. If using Word as
the new-mail editor, give its version, too. Also indicate if both Outlook
and Word were installed as part of an Office suite or if Outlook was
installed as a stand-alone version (which results in losing some integration
features between it and Word).

In OL2003, Tools -> Options -> Spelling tab -> Enable the "Always check
spelling before send" option.
